In this episode, it is revealed more about what happened with Jurati and Commander Oh. it is revealed that she forced a mind meld that revealed the fate of the galaxy if Soji and her kind are permitted to stay alive and that she swallowed a tracker, that now permits Narek to follow them.
Sensing that there is something off with Jurati, Raffi attempts to help her.
Arriving at Nepenthe, Kestra Troi, the dauther of Deanna (Marina Sirtis) and Riker (Jonathan Frakes) accidently reveals that Commander Data (Brent Spiner) was an android, make her one too. Picard also advises her that Dajh was dead. Soji starts to believe that nothing is real.
Jean-Luc gets a warm welcome from the Troi’s and it is revealed that their son, Thad, died of a rare decease that could of been cured with a postronic net, but because of the ban on synths, was no longer available. Picard promises he will not put them in danger.
Rios tells Jurati he suspects Raffi as a tracker on her. Jurati tries to tell him it’s her but fails. Filled with guilt and regret, she takes something in an attempt to terminate her life, rendering Narek’s tracking capabilities to be neutralized.
After trying many things, Soji begins totrust Picard and they find out where the home world is located. Picard bids the Troi’s farewell and beams back to the ship.
