A college student is found dead on campus. Jane discovers that the student lost her scholarship because of an injury but is intrigued on the fact that her tuition was paid in full. The mystery deepens when the victims father states he felt bad he could not pay himself for the tuition. They later discover that she was working as a call girl. They find the computer and discover that one of her clients was a college professor. During the candle ceremony for the victim, they discover that the RA owned the gun that killed the student. After a shootout, he his killed. Jane reveals to Maura that she applied to college.
