In the series opener of Walker, we are introduced to Cordell Walker, who returns after almost a year, after losing his wife. His daughter is angry with him for not being there and rebels, being caught with weed and cutting classes. We meet his new partner, Micki Ramirez, who at first is not really impressed by is antics. Walker is unable to let go of the mysteries surrounding the murder of his wife. He his offered to again go undercover, but decides against it, of fear of losing his kids.
