Two weeks have passed since the last time Detective Decker heard anything about Lucifer and she is angry. He does however pop back up, married to Candy Morningstar, an exotic dancer. Decker tries her best to keep Lucifer away going as far as to tell him that they were no longer partners. But with his charming ways, he gets into the latest investigation, with Candy tagging along. Lucifer’s mother is worried she broke him and wonders if all of this non-sense with Candy is just a smoke screen about a master plan he might have. Her efforts to grill Candy is non-succesful. Amanadiel angrily confronts his brother about the way he was treating their mother and Chloe. He realizes however that he his pushing her away cause she is their fathers unwilling pawn. After solving the latest investigation, she lets Lucifer know he can return to work. He confronts his mother and learns of her own agenda. And the end of the episode we learn that Candy is not who she says she is, Lucifer paid her to pretend to be his wife to fool everyone and also to get the plan his mother was concocting.
