By J. Leonard

Star Trek fans around the world rejoiced when it was announced that Sir Patrick Stewart would reprise is iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard in the series “Star Trek: Picard”. But the fans got a special treat when it was also announced in July 2019 that none other than Jeri Ryan was set the reprise her role of Seven Of Nine, that she as portrayed for four seasons on “Star Trek: Voyager”. Getting to see the character twenty years later was incredible and fans really liked how she turned out. Ryan joined the second season as series regular, where the crew is sent back into 2024 to correct something that went wrong in the timeline, and her performance as been stellar.

So, with Picard officially ending with season 3 (who will reunite the entire cast of “the next generation”), the question asked on our Twitter feed¹ was, would fans like to see Seven’s story continue (or a prequel to Picard)?

The answer did not surprise us, 88.9% of our voters would love to have the actress back, either in her own series, or part of another series, and 11.1% said maybe. Meaning, nobody was opposed to the idea.

Another idea that has been floating around the Internet would be to finally have the “Star Trek: Voyager” movie, on Paramount+, made. Considering Kate Mulgrew as returned as Holographic Janeway and Admiral Janeway in the series “Star Trek: Prodigy”.
