In the final episode of the “Summer School” series, the girls are at their wit’s end. After saving Kelly from drowning and realizing that Kelly’s mom was not Bloody Mary, the girls decide to regroup. A scare brings Tabby to her mother, who is fine but has received beautiful roses. This eerie gift only heightens the tension and confusion among the group.
Jen, while speaking with Noa about the chaotic events of the last few weeks, suggests that they also scrutinize their new boyfriends, Johnny and Christian. Initially, the girls argue about this course of action, but both Tabby and Imogen eventually agree to check on them. Tabby’s investigation leads her to a startling discovery: Christian had lied about his previous employment. Meanwhile, Imogen gets the shock of her life when she stumbles upon dead bodies hidden in a freezer. Overwhelmed with terror, she knocks Johnny out and locks him in the freezer, hoping to prevent any further danger.
Tabby makes a horrifying discovery of her own when she finds a mask resembling Imogen’s mother. As she processes this unsettling sight, she is confronted by Bloody Rose and falls down a flight of stairs, adding to the physical and emotional toll of the night’s events.
Amidst these personal horrors, the news announces a prison riot and reports that Archie has been murdered. This revelation sends ripples of fear and uncertainty through the group, complicating their already precarious situation.
Tabby wakes up in a church’s confession room, locked in with a bloody message instructing her to confess her sins. Confused and frightened, she manages to break free, only to find herself in a freakishly eerie church filled with people wielding weapons, seemingly intent on killing her. Among them are Bloody Rose and Archie, whom she thought was dead, adding to the surreal terror of the moment.
Simultaneously, the other girls rush into a theater after learning that the website Spooky Spaghetti’s servers are located there. They confront Christian, who appears clueless about the ongoing chaos. In their desperate search, they find a note from ‘A’ in the server room. This leads them to a designated viewing room where they see a live feed of Tabby about to be killed by Bloody Rose. Their attempt to leave the theater is thwarted by an angry masked mob, Bloody Rose’s followers, who try to kill them. They manage to escape back to the viewing room, where Christian advises them to flee through the back while he stays behind to cover their escape. Thanks to Jen’s quick thinking and skills, they hotwire a car and drive to the church.
In the meantime, “Archie” reveals his true identity as Wes, Tabby’s former boss. Bloody Rose admits to being Chip’s mother. Together, they conspired to create the ultimate horror movie, casting Tabby as the final girl who must die unless she confesses to lying about Chip. Tabby refuses to comply, and the situation grows increasingly dire. Wes, clearly deranged, is convinced that this movie will be legendary. With nowhere else to run, Tabby escapes through a church window and makes a desperate dash into the woods, with Wes and his minions in hot pursuit.
Despite the overwhelming odds, Tabby manages to knock out three of her pursuers, but Wes continues to chase her relentlessly. In a strategic move, she pretends to enter a cabin. Wes, full of arrogance and pride in his twisted creation, follows her inside. Tabby, wielding a rake, confronts him. Wes mocks her, believing she doesn’t have the nerve to kill him, but she proves him wrong by stabbing him with the rake.
The ordeal finally over, the girls reunite, relieved and exhausted. Two weeks later, they take their final exams and all pass, marking the end of their tumultuous summer. They inform Doctor Sullivan, who was rescued from the cabin, that they are done with their therapy sessions and wish her well.
In the closing moments, we see Doctor Sullivan in her office, discussing her upcoming book with her publicist. She expresses confidence in getting the girls to sign away the rights to their therapy sessions, dismissing them as narcissists who could be easily swayed with money if necessary. As the lights go out, Archie appears in the doorway. Realizing that he is not dead, Doctor Sullivan demands to know if he killed Sebastien. Archie remains silent and instead stabs her to death, leaving her to die without the answer she sought.
This chilling conclusion ties up the intense and suspenseful series, leaving viewers with a mix of resolution and lingering questions.
