In Pretty Little Liars, Season 1, Episode 7, titled “Homecoming Hangover,” the aftermath of the disastrous homecoming dance unfolds. Toby (Keegan Allen) drives an injured Emily (Shay Mitchell) to the hospital. Hanna (Ashley Benson) informs the girls that she can’t return the missing file to the therapist’s office since the police are already investigating. Meanwhile, Hanna plans to destroy the file, despite Emily’s hesitation, and the group ultimately decides to throw it into the river.
Aria visits Ezra’s (Ian Harding) classroom but finds a substitute teacher. Later, she confronts Sean (Chuck Hittinger) about flowers and sees her brother Mike (Cody Christian) in a fight. Lucas opens up to Hanna about how Alison (Sasha Pieterse) treated him terribly. Emily tells Maya she wants to give their relationship a chance, but Maya seems doubtful.
Concerned for Ezra, Aria visits his apartment and overhears him discussing a job interview in New York. Meanwhile, Emily returns home to find Toby’s motorcycle crashed. The episode ends with the girls receiving a chilling message: “Thanks for getting Toby out of my way” signed by the mysterious “A.”
