Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Season 1, Episode 4 – “Teacher’s Pet”
In this episode of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Xander (Nicholas Brendon) daydreams about Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) during class, much to the amusement of his friends. Meanwhile, the new biology teacher, Mr. Gregory, tells Buffy she has the potential to excel but is later found murdered. At The Bronze, Buffy is shocked to see Angel (David Boreanaz), who cryptically warns her about an impending danger before disappearing again.
Xander becomes infatuated with a new teacher at school, Ms. French (Kristine Sutherland), whose charm soon begins to worry the group. Buffy and her friends investigate the murder of Mr. Gregory and discover his body in the school cafeteria fridge. As Buffy gathers more intel on a similar killing, she’s attacked by a powerful vampire. During the skirmish, she notices Ms. French running from the scene, seemingly frightened by the vampire.
Despite Buffy’s warnings, Xander ignores her and heads to Ms. French’s house to work on a project. Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) follows and finds the house, where she and her friends engage in a dangerous battle to save Xander (Nicholas Brendon) and his friend. The episode, titled Teacher’s Pet, delivers both danger and suspense as Buffy faces yet another dark force threatening her friends.
