In Chicago Fire, Season 1, Episode 10, “Merry Christmas, etc.,” Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) has a nightmare about his brother, Leon (Jeff Lima), being murdered for not repaying the $10,000 he owes. Despite Joe’s efforts to reason with Leon, he refuses to listen. Casey visits the accuser and reveals they have a recording of the incident, leading the lieutenant to back down and expose the ruse.
Amidst the turmoil, Casey’s sister visits the firehouse, sharing updates about their family, including how his niece misses him. Shay and Severide have a major fight over pill wrappers she discovered, leading Shay to move out. Casey’s date with Gabby does not go as planned, and he later visits his mother in prison.
